Located in the historic country town of Upper Lake, California, the Tallman Hotel is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a journey to simpler times.

Revitalizing Lake County as a preeminent vacation destination, the Tallman Hotel’s fully restored 17-room, 1890’s-era auberge began hosting guests again in 2006. Our expansion included our full service bar and restaurant, the Blue Wing Saloon, a recreation of the popular saloon by that name that existed on the same site from the 1880s to the 1920s.

A scenic 2.5 hour drive from San Francisco, the Tallman Hotel welcomes you to relax, rejuvenate, and explore Lake County’s stunning scenery, and emerging wine and food culture, or simply relax in one of our geo-thermally heated Ofuro soaking tubs.
