Each evening starts at 5:30 with a set from the great finger-style, steel string blues guitarist Barry “Big B” Brenner, followed by the headliner of the evening. Barry has a large Southern California following and we’re proud to introduce him to Lake County.

WEDNESDAY JULY 18 The Festival opens with Berkeley-born blues veteran Freddie Hughes launching his new CD on the BluesExpress label. Freddie will be backed by Rich Kirch and his band. Rich toured for many years with the great John Lee Hooker.

THURSDAY JULY 19 Now living in Los Angeles, Bettie Mae Fikes is well known in Lake County from her regular appearances at Konocti Blues Café. Her soulful vocals will be backed by Robert Watson and the BMF Band.

FRIDAY JULY 20 Friday’s double bill features the Lake Blues All-Stars with Jim Williams, Jon Hopkins and Mike Wilhelm on guitar and vocals. The evening concludes with a high-energy set from Twice as Good, featuring the popular father and son duo of Rich and Paul Steward.

SATURDAY JULY 21 The grand finale of the Festival will feature BluesExpress recording artist Frankie Lee and his band. Frankie’s appearance is being co-sponsored by ReMax Realty. Claudette King, daughter of the great B. B. King, will make a special guest appearance with Frankie.
